Stretch (Patrick Wilson), a failed actor turned limo driver, is struggling to pay off his gambling debt before the stroke of midnight when he comes across the rich and completely crazy Karos (Chris Pine) who may hold the answer to his problems.
This fast-paced crime comedy starring Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring, 2013) takes place mostly in a limo during one night. Just when failed actor “Stretch” thought things couldn’t get worse a local mid-level gangster puts the pressure on Stretch to pay back his gambling debts before midnight. With the assistance of call-girl Charlie (Jessica Alba) Stretch sets out to steal clients to get the tips needed to cover his debts while also receiving occasional and highly unwanted advice from deceased limo driver Karl (Ed Helms) and from here the night just gets weirder and weirder. With a number of big names dropping in for smaller or bigger roles, Chris Pine takes the prize with his fundamentally weird billionaire client. At times wacky, at times attempting a more philosophical approach, Stretch is an uneven fair but entertaining if you like that sort of thing. Recommended to fans of weird crime comedies.
Despite having a major role, Chris Pine is uncredited.
