Official Trailer for Isle of Dogs

The first trailer is here for the next Wes Anderson movies, Isle of Dogs! Fans of this quirky and visually exuberant American filmmaker will be thrilled to learn that he is returning to stop-motion animation, a genre he demonstrated a talent for with Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009). The story is set on a Japanese carbage island where all dogs have been sent to due to overpopulation and disease. Here a young boy goes on a quest to find his lost dog, Spot. The voice cast includes a lot of Anderson regulars, like Bill Murray, Edward Norton, F. Murray Abraham, and Frances McDormand, as well as new addition like Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, and Liev Screiber. The film looks to be another quirky adventure story and we here at Moviegeek certainly look forward to it!

Isle of Dogs will be in theatres in Spring, 2018.
