We follow a group of young people struggling with family, friends and relationships during a snowy Christmas Eve.
Based on, or more properly inspired by as many differences has been made to both characters and story, this light-hearted Love actually (2003) for teens will melt most snowy hearts. It brings just about everything you need from a Christmas feel-good movie on the table. There are decorations, Christmas trees and light, snow and even a couple of nice Holiday tunes (particularly the awesome intercultural nativity). The young cast, mostly recognizable if you have seen various Netflix series, are good and can all be considered someone to watch while the amazing Cusack (Snatched, 2017) delights with her quirky Tin Foil Lady. It is sugary sweet and cozy like a cup of hot chocolate. Recommended if you need to relight your Holiday spirit.
As John Green has written a part of the book it is based on, this will be his third movie adapted book after The Fault in Our Stars (2014) and Paper Towns (2015).
