First trailer for Pet Sematary (2019)
The first trailer has been released for the upcoming remake of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary!
Originally adapted in 1989, the first version is still good, but we might as well be honest and say that there is room for improvement. This version is directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmeyer who have previously collaborated on horror movies such as Starry Eyes (2016) and the Valentine’s Day segment in anthology horror film Holidays (2014). The cast is headed by Jason Clakre (Zero Dark Thirty, 2012) as Louis Creed and John Lithgow (Interstellar, 2014) as helpful neighbour Jud Crandall.
The images released so far and the thrilling trailer released today all look promising and Pet Sematary will hopefully be another great Stephen King adaptation after It (2017). Let’s hope there are many more to come.
Pet Sematary will be in theatres April, 2019.
