First Trailer for Captain Marvel


The first trailer has landed for Marvel’s latest addition to its cinematic universe. Brie Larson (Kong: Skull Island, 2017) stars as Carol Danvers aka. Captain Marvel, one of a new string of Marvel superheroes to hit the screen, and one who will perhaps play a pivotal role in the upcoming second part of Avengers: Infinity War (2018). The writing and directing team Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, who have previously collaborated on films like It’s a Funny Kind of Story (2010) and Half Nelson (2006), have been given the reins this time around. They were previously consider to direct Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) before the job was given to James Gunn.

Little is known about the plot, but those a little familiar with the character will know that cosmic elements play a part and that she is one of the most powerful superheroes there is. Larson is joined by Marvel new-comer Jude Law (The Grand Budapest Hotel, 2014) as well as Marvel regular Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Guardians of the Galaxy stars Lee Pace and Djimon Hounsou who return as Ronan and Kolath.


Captain Marvel will be in theatres in March 2019
